Product DescriptionProduct IntroductionDOYENTRONTEX® fiber is an UHMWPE (Ultra High Molecular weight Polyethylene) fiber developed by BJTYZ about 20 years ago.DOYENTRONTEX® fiber has a unique combination of properties. The density is slightly less than 1 g/cm3, so the fiber floats on water. But the tenacity is the highest in the world and can be up to 15 times that of a good quality steel. The modulus is very high and is second only to that of special carbon fibers grades. Elongation at break is as low as for other high performance fibers, but due to the high tenacity the energy to break is high. Nowadays DOYENTRONTEX® fiber has been used in lots of application areas. Advantage High strength and high modulus, the tenacity can be up to 15 times that of a good quality steel Low density:0.97g/cm3, lighter than water High impact resistance Anti-aging and anti-UV capability Corrosion and sea water resistance Abrasion and fatigue resistance Low dielectric constant, high electrical resistance and a dielectric loss factor Temperature resistance:the strength and modulus increase at low temperature Main Applications: Personal protection(Body armor, Bomb suppression blanket, Ballistic helmet, Ballistic plate) Bulletproof armour (Armored vehicle, Police vehicle, Anti-explosion yacht) Oceaneering(Drilling platform, Anchor cable, Towrope, Mooring rope, Terminal hoisting rope) Industrial application(Cut-resistant glove, Hoisting rope, Wind power cable) Aerospace engineering(Re-entry module of shenzhou spacecraft recovery system, Aviation cages, High precision space craft) Marine fishery(Commercial fishing nets, Marine aquaculture net) Outdoor sports(Climbing rope, Parachute rope, Sailing rope, Kite line, Fishing line) Note1:1g/d=0.883cN /dtex,1 cN /dtex=95.098MPa Industrial Standard FZ/T 54027-2010 Note2: The industrial standard is drafted by BJTYZ
